Hygiene & Safety

The hygiene and safety of the children is paramount at Funny Faces and greatly important to me as a painter and a mother. We have a lower age limit for the children to have their faces painted. I will not paint a ‘full face’ on anyone age 2 years or under, this is also recommended because small children have very sensitive skin and could react to the products used. I use Snazaroo face paints which have hypo-allergenic and anti-bacterial properties and are specifically for use on the face and are of the highest quality.

Anyone who comes to have their faces painted showing sore skin, very severe eczema, cold sores or facial cuts around their eyes, nose or mouth will also be refused. I am sure you will agree that this will reduce the risk of cross-contamination and is for the children’s own safety and well being.

Face paints are easily removed with a face cloth and water or a baby wipe. A patch test is offered on the inside of the elbow if your child has sensitive skin. All equipment is washed in warm, soapy, disinfected water, rinsed & dried after each use.

Supervision

Parents/ Guardians must supervise their children at parties or events at all times. Funny Faces will not accept responsibility for their supervision.

* It is the parents responsibility to ask if anyone cannot have their faces painted before I arrive. *

I only use Snazaroo face paints, glitter & brushes. I do not cut corners at Funny Faces or put your ‘Little Cherubs’ at risk!!
